Based out of Munroe Falls, Ohio, the Ruman Racing team is committed to the spirit of excellence, teamwork, and family values in auto-racing.

Ruman Racing has competed in various auto racing series since 1992 including Trans-Am, Sports Car Club of America, Spec Racer Pro, and the Women’s Global GT series. The Ruman Racing stable currently includes two-time North East Division GT-1 Champion Amy Ruman, Trans-Am veteran and North East Division GT-1 Champion Bob Ruman, and Spec Racer competitor Niki Ruman. In the 2008 season the team will focus on running Amy Ruman in SCCA GT-1 competition, Niki Ruman in SCCA Spec Racer Nationals, and Bob Ruman in selected GT-1 and Spec Racer SCCA National events.

The team ran consecutively for ten years in the Trans-Am Series. Team owner Bob Ruman piloted the #23 McNichols/SafetyToday/Cenweld Chevrolet Corvette for 8 years (1996-2004) and turned the reins over to Amy who raced the #23 in the 2005 Cleveland Grand Prix and 2006 Topeka Trans-Am events. Co-owner Barb Ruman is a veteran Corvette autocross driver who coordinates the team’s efforts in several series.
